The integration of CiNii Books functions for fiscal year 2025 has completed with the release of the additional functions on March 30, 2026.
The following function additions were implemented in CiNii Books function integration for fiscal year 2025.
- Include data source "NACSIS-CAT/ILL"
- Tab switching function for "Holding Library" on the "Books" page
- NACSIS-CAT"Holdings Information" display Function
- NACSIS-CAT holding libraries"Library Information" Display Function
- Display and screen transition function for the number of holding libraries icon.
- Grouping display function for e-resource link information buttons
- Search function that uses "Library ID (FAID)" as a condition for holding
- OpenSearch API function for "Holding Search"
- OpenSearch API function for "Library Search"
- Screen transition assistance function from "Journal" section of "Articles" page to "Books" page
- Display function for NACSIS-CAT"Document Type" on search results screen, etc.
Furthermore, as part of our ongoing efforts to improve the functionality of CiNii Research as a whole, we will continue to improve the functionality of CiNii Research related to "books" and other related information.
As of March 2026, we are planning and preparing for the following functional improvements related to NACSIS-CAT.
- Display function for parent bibliographic information in NACSIS-CAT"PTBL"
- Link function to NACSIS-CAT"Bibliographic History Map"
- Search function using NACSIS-CAT"XISBN"
- Improvements to the output function of CiNii Research
- Output function by ISBD format
- Output support for NACSIS-CAT EP information and VL information RIS format
Furthermore, CiNii Research handles various types of data, including NACSIS-CAT, and we will continuously consider adding or improving necessary functions for CiNii Research and move forward with practical implementation.
