Start the collection of all publicly IRDB content

Previously, CiNii Research collected and included Institutional Repository Database (IRDB) publicly content such as "Articles" "Dissertations" and "Research data" collected. We have now expanded the scope of collection and inclusion to include other types of content, and CiNii Research has started collecting all IRDB publicly content.


  • IRDB content other than "Articles" "Dissertations" and "Research data" is collected in CiNii Research as "OtherWorks."
  • "OtherWorks" is a data source in CiNii Research that collects and makes searchable items that could not be classified into any of the existing "data sources".
  • "OtherWorks" are searchable only using "Search All".
  • If an "OtherWorks" can be matched with other included items using DOI or similar methods, it has the same "Data source" as the matched item.
