よくある質問 - 掲載情報の誤りに関して

For inquiries about errors, please contact Research Products Team at the National Institute of Informatics.

For details, please refer "here". We regularly make amendments to the data according to the requests from users and try to maintain accuracy.

We accept such requests at KAKEN system section at the National Institute of Informatics. For details, please refer "here".

Researcher numbers are unique to each researcher and assigned only once; in rare cases, however, multiple researcher numbers are assigned to one researcher.

In such cases, please contact us and let us know the researcher number you are currently using as well as other researcher numbers that have been assigned to you in the past.

This database is created using the electronic version of KAKEN data, including the information at the time of Adopted Projects application (i.e. Adopted Projects data), information at the time of grant application, and the reports (e.g. Research-status Report, Annual Research Report, and Final Research Report).
Among these, Adopted Projects Data does not include the information on Co-Investigators (Kenkyū-buntansha) etc.

The information at the time of grant application was not included until 2015. Therefore, the information on Co-Investigators (Kenkyū-buntansha) used to be displayed only after the reports (e.g. Research-status Report, Annual Research Report, and Final Research Report) were digitised and added to the KAKEN database. In addition, the information on Co-Investigators (Renkei-kenkyūsha) and Research Collaborators (Kenkyū-Kyōryokusha) are displayed after the Final Research Report is digitised and added to the KAKEN database.
Some reports have a restriction on the number of Co-Investigators (Kenkyū-buntansha) that can be listed in the form, and thus not all the researchers are listed in the reports.

Co-Investigators (Kenkyū-buntansha) will not be registered in the KAKEN database unless they are listed in a report, regardless of the fact that they may have been involved in the project.

If the information on Co-Investigators (Kenkyū-buntansha) is missing in the KAKEN database while being listed in a report, please contact us "here".
