About CiNii Research

The National Institute of Informatics (NII) has been providing CiNii as a platform for researchers and librarians to search for bibliographic information.

As the concept of open science becomes more widespread in recent years, however, other types of information as well as literature tend to be made public, including research data, project information, and other information related to research activities.

In response to this trend, we launched CiNii Research. CiNii Research is a simple interface that allows you to easily cross-search not only literature, but also research data from external collaborating institutions and institutional repositories, and other sources including research project data on KAKEN.
