Integration of CiNii Dissertations/Cinii Books into CiNii Research and the timing of the integration
We have integrated the functions of the doctoral dissertation search service CiNii Dissertations into CiNii Research. The functions of the bibliographic information search service CiNii Books will also be integrated on the following dates..
The integration dates are as follows.
CiNii Dissertations Integration: December 9, 2024
CiNii Books Integration: Second half of FY2025
Furthermore, data from CiNii Books has already been integrated into CiNii Research and is now searchable.
About the period of parallel operation
CiNii Dissertations/Books is scheduled to continue its service in parallel with CiNii Research for a certain period after the start of functional integration with CiNii Research.
The parallel operation period for CiNii Dissertations is scheduled to end on May 12, 2025, for six months after the integration. The parallel operation period of CiNii Books is scheduled to be one year after the integration.
Access to CiNii Dissertations/Cinii Books after the integration
After the parallel operation ends, CiNii Dissertations/Books are fully integrated into CiNii Research, and access to CiNii Dissertations/Books will be redirected to the corresponding CiNii Research page or top page.Changes to the search function
Note that the search function of CiNii Research after the integration may be different from that of now provided by CiNii Dissertations and CiNii Books due to changes in screen design, etc.
